I'm not sure what the distinction is between those two courses.  How
would we divide up the group otherwise than by letting people
subscribe to the mailing list(s) for the conlang(s) they want to
learn?

The conlang_learners list will remain in place, but after we get the
Kēlen list set up and everyone who is interested has subscribed to
that or the gjâ-zym-byn list, probably the level of traffic here will
drop to basically zero until we start planning to select another
conlang to learn, however many months from now -- like the near-zero
traffic on the relay list when no relay is currently running or being
planned.
