Truly, though, my reason for not wanting to vote is that I'm not really
planning to participate in the learning part, as in I'm not looking to
learn one of the other conlangs. I'm very happy to invest my time
extensively if the group were to choose to learn Alurhsa, and happy to
help a lot as well if Itlani is chosen. So I mainly came to listen in
on the discussions at this point (although it sounds like I'm a bit
late for that).<br>

late joiners. I probably will not vote, as my reason for joining was
that I heard my own conlang, Alurhsa, as well as Jim Hopkins' Itlani
which I know fairly well, were candidates. If either of those is
chosen, I'll seek to be as much help to everyone as I can, but if
another is chosen I most likely won't join the learning community just
because I have so much going on anyway. Hence why I don't want to vote
as it seems inappropriate for me to affect the result.<br>

For all practical purposes, the "citizenry" concerned with this
particular vote is restricted to people who are reading this list. It
makes sense to define eligibility in terms of list membership; but then
not make a big deal out of it, because how many people nòt reading the
list even know what's going on here? I do think it makes sense for you
to supply the vote counters the list of group subscribers so they can
become familiar with how many folks are subscribed and who they are. If
all of a sudden 400 ballots come pouring in, they'll know something is
fishy. And they'll know which of those 400 ballots are "legit".<br>
