<DIV>I think that this "teaching adventure" should not be limited to a single project. </DIV>
<DIV>Of course, I wish Sambahsa would be chosen at the beginning (relatively low difficulty; it stands at the crossroads between natlang, conlang, artlang...). But I would hardly see people being obliged to be "held" on Sambahsa, even if they have appreciated the language, after having learnt it. Once the people have mastered the grammar of the language, they would be free (and welcomed !) to keep on practicing Sambahsa on other platforms (Yahoo groups, blogs, etc...) and we could pass to another linguistic project. I don't know how big the group will be, but I suppose the learning of Sambahsa grammar itself would hardly go beyond one month if the participants are serious, so it may not be unreasonable to think that, after three months, we could jump to another conlang. </DIV>
<DIV>A rapid first success would be great not only for Sambahsa, but for this whole pedagogical project which may then attract other people reluctant to the teaching of auxlangs different from Esperanto or Interlingua. Going to an other level difficulty would be furthermore interesting for the scientific research of Sai and others, as this could provide experimental data about the learnability of an auxlang and its complexity. <BR>In the FAQ about Sambahsa, I had written that Sambahsa is the language to learn when you don't know which language to choose. A first attempt with Sambahsa may help people to see clearly through if they want to learn, after it, rather a very elaborated artlang linked to a particular linguistic branch like Brithenig, or something rather in the direction of an aprioristic auxlang like Vorlin, or something that contains more non-European vocabulary than Sambahsa (I don't have an example in mind...), etc. etc...</DIV>
