<DIV>The only thing I can think of here is that if the diacritic characters can be written using a secondary spelling...such as the Germans do..eg: Schön/schoen...gemütlich/gemuetlich etc....and likewise for consonants. My own conlang is highly 'diacriticalized', but I'm currently putting in place a non diacritical spelling system just for this type of issue.</DIV>
