Agreed, and this is what I was outlining in my mail: not for it to be in-depth...but an overall 'quick glance'. Or a kind of 'refresher' for anything that gets forgotton once the learning is underway. But as Jim said, its down to the preference of the creator (if available). It's certainly something I would do.

Indeed, a FAQ is per se a good idea, but is there really a single template (especially if we consider the various conlangs in competition here) ?
When I taught sambahsa to someone else, I used a Google group as a platform for exercises and explanations:

If this experience could be repeated and if people would ask frequently the same questions, then there is matter for such a FAQ. Unfortunately, it's hard to predict which questions will be posed in advance (or it's no more a FAQ but a grammar...).
I have a FAQ on the sambahsa wiki, but it's purpose is only to provide an overall presentation of the language, not in-depth grammatical explanations:

That's a good idea to pass on to the creator of the chosen conlang
(unless we end up reviving a moribund conlang without its creator's
involvement).? Some creators may prefer that method, others may want
to use a mailing list devoted to the conlang, or some other method.

Hmm, maybe.? What questions can you think of that would be applicable
to just about any conlang, regardless of what kind it is or how well
documented it already is????For any question I can think of, it seems
that either it wouldn't be applicable to all types of languages, or it
might be clearly answered in the early pages of the conlang's lessons
or grammar.
